Same old insinuations
Same old scorns
Sometimes I wonder
About these thorns
Are they here to teach

Just for show
Some thorns prick

Bleed you dry

Prone to meanness
Some do think
They are blameless

I won't chide

Clouds Are There to Overcome

Whenever you feel the blue,
Don't let it get to you,
Just fake a smile or two,
And you will surely see it through.

When you're all down and out,
Don't pout, don't doubt,
Life is all about,
Overcoming that cloud!

When rain seems nigh,
Don't you cry, don't you sigh,
Look to the Sky, look on High,
And never ever ask 'Why?'.

Just you keep on a going,
With sincere faith in The Knowing,
Your life will ever be a flowing,
With all His Benevolent Bestowing!
